Museum of the History of Religion has one of the best collections in Russia of cultural monuments of Netherlands in XVI - XVIII centuries and presents the exhibition "Religion and art in the Netherlands XVI - XVIII centuries."

The exhibition presents the works of artists of different art centers in the Netherlands and various artistic styles - from "mannerism" 1520s to Romanism.

The museum collection of paintings, prints and rare books with an amazingly showing the development of religious life in the Netherlands in XVI - XVIII centuries.

Prints and rare books witch are presented at the exhibition allow us to investigate the most important ideological problems of the Reformation and Conterformation.

Gallery exhibiting a lot of portraits including images of famous statesmen and religious leaders Holland XVII-XVIII centuries.

The exhibition is open until February 23, 2014
